The Daggett Scholarship

Ron and Bobbe Daggett have generously elected to award a yearly scholarship for education to qualified individuals with PKU.

The Dagget scholarship is awarded to a Minnesota student with PKU. Individuals must reside in Minnesota, be a current patient at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital PKU Clinic and be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or vocational school in the fall of the upcoming year. Students may apply only once during their senior year of high school.

Grants

Grants up to $500 per PKU individual are available for travel or fees for PKU events and activities including, but not limited to, PKU conferences, PKU camps, and PKU cooking classes. Applicant must be a resident of Minnesota and attend a PKU clinic in Minnesota. An individual may be approved for one (1) grant award per year, not to exceed 3 awards in 5 years.  Persons with PKU awarded a grant are required to submit, within 30 days of conclusion of event, an age-appropriate summary to include aspects they liked or information they learned that can be shared with the PKU community (see details below). Grants will be awarded based on availability of funds.
